OK, I’ve blogged about the First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit before and I have asked Congress nicely to extend it on several occasions. But, one more time is not going to hurt and it just might make a difference. I’m not going to rant about it; I’ll just ask that you reach out to Congress and be heard. This is not just about getting money in the hands of first time homebuyers, but more about the housing recovery and our economy. Whether you are buying, selling or not even involved in the real estate market right now, this is important for you and for your country. Sorry, I ranted a little, but now I’m going to stop. Don’t just listen to me, Google it and read the thousands of news articles and blogs about why we need this credit extended. Then call, write or email your Congressman.
